THE HARMONISERS AND CARITAS

On Wednesday the 16th December in the Cultural Centre in Quesada, Rojales,the Chairman of The Harmonisers, was there to present a package of food and other items to the Rojales branch of Caritas,the local charity organisation who help families in need in the town.

This is the second time this year that TBH have been able to donate to this worthy charity.In total now over 800e.which hopefully will make life just a little easier for our fellow citizens of  Rojales The Mayor, Senor Antonia Martinez Canovas was there to accept the donation. Also present from the Ayuntamiento of Rojales were Sylvia Pizzaro, Councillor for Culture and Education, and her Husband Ismael,both of whom give TBH so much assistance in the production of their annual show in The Teatro Capitol and all other events which are organised in the area.

The previous week on the 10th December TBH were in Torrevieja in the 'Foreigners' office, AMIC to present a cheque for 1000e to Apanee the local charity who support families with children have learning difficulties.Once again it was the Chairman performed this pleasant task. There to receive the cheque representing Apanee was Carmen Carrion, the whole proceedings being watched by Pedro Valero the Councillor for Foreign Residents and Graham Knight-Head of the Foreigners office.
